The BBUS National Customer Service team attended the prestigious National Customer Service Awards 2008, on Tuesday 23rd September. The team was delighted to be short listed in the category of Customer Service Management Team of the Year Award.

The National Customer Service Awards recognise and honour the delivery of Britain's best customer service, attracting entries from a number of industry leaders.

Being a finalist was an honour for the team and recognised their dedication, competing against some of the best customer service providers in the UK, such as Royal Bank of Scotland and Norwich Union.

The Customer Service Management Team of the Year award recognises groups of customer managers who are responsible for their own teams and who significantly contribute to customer service delivery of the organisation and add real value.

Gary Jackson, BBUS Customer Service Manager: "Reaching the finals was a massive achievement for BBUS and it recognised the progress we have made, to be regarded as a world class customer service provider. We are now able to benchmark ourselves against industry leaders and set out a strategy for 2009 to further improve our service offering."

BBUS was represented on the night by its Managing Director Phil Brookes, Colin Kelly Operations Director, Brent Mitchell Head of Support Services and the Customer Service Management Team.
